My students are students with varying disabilities; ie downs syndrome, autism, and traumatic brain injury. Although the students are 6th, 7th and 8th grade students their academic levels are 2nd-4th grade. My students best learn from a hands-on approach. The school is a Middle School in what is considered to be a rural area. Many of the students come from backgrounds of poverty.
