This year our school is implementing the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Program throughout all grade levels. Our goal is to encourage our students to see the endless possibilities for their futures and that college is a reality with hard work and determination. Each classroom teacher is choosing a college and the children in that classroom will study about the chosen college, learn important information, and be immersed in the college experience. Offering the opportunities for these children to be a part of something that may not even seem possible, yet can be with hard work and determination, is priceless.

About my class
