My students are pre-kindergarten children with special needs. They range in age from 2.9 years to 5 years of age. They are sweet, energetic children that have difficulty staying focused and on task. They have difficulty with speech and language development and fine motor development. Most are mild to moderately delayed in all or most areas. My school is located in a poverty-stricken area where there is low income and therefore, most of the children receive free breakfast/lunch. It is also in a high crime rate area. We are also lacking lots of supplies, especially tablets for these little fingers.
