I work at a Title 1 school, and this means that a high percentage of our students qualify for free and reduced-price lunch. These students come to class often without any materials and lack the desire to be in school. Science is a difficult subject but when they find out it's lab day students light up with excitement. I'm hoping to give them the desire to learn with labs.
