My students are like my own children. I want the best for them! When my students walk into my room they are already a year behind their peers in reading. My first job is to get them to believe in themselves. I teach in a high poverty school with children who struggle on a daily basis in many ways. These students need as many different ways that I can think of to present the same information. No children learns in exactly the same way. What a great way to present information to struggling readers with a Kindle Fire!
