My school has a very diverse population. Many students are from low income households. They do not have technology in their homes to research or reinforce skills. Currently, we do not have any working student computers in the classroom. The only independent technology time is during computer class. My students are all classified with various learning disabilities. They need as much exposure to technology as possible. Technology gives them confidence and reinforcement of many skills.
