We are going to be raising smart kids through cooking. So many lessons can be taught while in the kitchen. Math is involved by counting, measuring, and fractions in each recipe. Explaining how food changes with temperature or explaining how certain foods can help our body be healthy provide great lessons in Science. Last teaching students how to make a recipe from start to finish helps build skills for planning and completing projects. We will also be providing each student with a recipe box full of recipes to share with their family.
