My students need math manipulatives to support their learning goals. These manipulatives will allow them to visually see a math concept and be able to apply it to the world. The students in my classroom are tactile learners and understand math concepts best by touch. These math tools will be used during small group, whole group, and inclusion time in their general education rooms. With these tools, students will be able to receive differentiated instruction in their least restrictive environment. With your donations, I believe my students will have the tools to gain confidence and become the mathematicians I know they are.
The indoor and outdoor alphabet and number carpet squares will help increase their letter and number recognition, support their need for kinesthetic learning, and be used for spacing during community circle time.
