My students are Special Needs students whose disabilities range from Specific Learning Disability ( mostly with processing, auditory and kinesthetic deficits), Dyslexia, Autism, Other Health Impairment and Emotional Disturbance. They are in the Resource Program with a Push -In/ Pull-Out services. Push-In service means that I visit them in their general education classes to assist them in their academic needs both in reading and mathematics. Pull- Out service means that they will be with me, one period a day to give them the intensive reading and mathematics intervention. My school is a Title I school with 90-99% qualified students of free lunch. It's demographic profile composed of 70% Hispanic and 30% African American.
