As a speech therapist at
Roosevelt Elementary, I am fortunate to provide speech and language therapy to a wide variety of children. The kids I support range from preschool up thru 5th grade. We have three classroom dedicated to provide services to mild-to-moderately handicapped children. I also provide speech/language services to children with communication needs that are in general education classes. It is such a rewarding experience when kids start preschool with little to no communication skills, and when they leave my school, their parents are saying, "Now can you get them stop talking all the time!!"
