A typical day in my classroom is filled with fun, laughter, singing, movement, hard work and hands on activities. My students have adjusted to the hard work and academics that have been pushed down on to them over the years. My students are much more advanced as kindergarteners today than they were 15 years ago when I started to teach kindergarten. Kindergarten is no longer a place for children to be introduced to school and social interactions. It is now a place for academic performance. They work hard, and I do my best to make it fun and interesting for them. My students may be young, but they are very eager to learn. And they love to learn using different types of hands on activities. That's why these Ipads would be so awesome to have in their little hands.
