In today’s society, there is no doubt technology is becoming increasingly popular. Many of these students do not have internet access at home or access to this type of technology. These iPad's will be an asset in our classroom and help my students become successful life-long learners and problem solvers. These iPad's will be used daily for a variety of activities in my classroom throughout every day. The students will use the iPad's to build literacy skills and math skills. Some apps the students will be using to help with reading skills are: MeeGenius, Epic! (FREE online books), Toontastic, and Toontastic Jr. The students will use Vocabulary and Spelling City to help build vocabulary knowledge as well as help build their knowledge of spelling words and take online spelling tests. There are also a variety of math apps for the students to use such as Math Drills, Base Ten Math, Multiply, Spider Math Quiz, and Math Number Sense and Place Value. The students will also be able to use the IXL app to practice skills in Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science
