My students are 6th grade science students at a K-8 STEM academy. As a STEM Academy, our primary focus is in blending technology, critical thinking skills, and science concepts to make sense of scientific phenomena in the world around them. They love to express their learning and understanding in engaging and innovative ways. These students are very much a part of the digital native generation. When they use new technology, they are able to focus on the product and the outcomes rather than focusing on how to use the technology. This is a monumental leap from just a few years ago.

About my class
