Aloha! I am committed to using Google Classroom next year to help organize my students' writing and help increase engagement, participation, and accountability. Through Google Classroom, students will be able to upload work (written, visual, slideshows, etc.) to share not only with me, but with their classmates as well. They will be able to give each other feedback, take quizzes, and lead presentations through this program. I have piloted Google Classroom this year with one class and I have seen a huge jump in my students' engagement and excitement about sharing their work. However, the computer labs at our school are often in use due to testing and other activities. In order to use Google Classroom effectively, I need to have computers in my classroom that students can access easily. I am hoping for 10 Acer Chromebooks to help facilitate the use of Google Classroom for my 8th grade students.
