My students are a group of 20 explorers! At ages five and six, they are growing up in a world where the first iPad is older than they are. Technology is their ticket to knowledge. My explorers are eager, excited and roaring to go. Some of my students speak different languages, while others are fluent in two languages. Some love math, reading, and science, while others need more motivation. For language arts, my explorers partake in Daily 5. Students read by themselves, work on writing, engage in word work, partner read and listen to reading. Students love the technology aspect of the animated computer games and interactive stories. In math, my students have a mix of whole group instruction, small group instruction, and partner work. The students love playing math games through technology!
