My class is very diverse. I have students from all around the globe from Cambodia to Pakistan to Mexico. We are enjoying celebrating our different cultural heritages. We live in a small blue collar community. The majority of our students are on free or reduced lunch - so many this year that we now offer free breakfast and lunch to all our students, by way of a federal grant. We are a small community school; where most of our students can walk to school. Although, our school library has some books on different countries, these books are very outdated. Most of them published in the 1960s - 1970s.
