I teach in a high needs public school in Milwaukee where a very small percentage of our students are on grade level in reading or math and 100% of our students are below the poverty level and recieve free lunch. Your support with increase the number of students who are able to set a strong foundation in reading and math as first graders this year! I will use the chart paper and easel to create a print rich environment for my students. These little learners need access to a lot of visuals to help their learning and an easel and chart paper will help us to create a strong, print rich environment as we lay the foundation for my student's educational journey from the very beginning!
