If you've ever worked with teens, you already know how difficult it can be to get them to talk - especially when it involves personal feelings. Art is a proven and creative way to distract students from their own fears and hesitancy.
We have seen amazing progress while using various paint mediums with our students in our unique school setting.
Busy hands allows teens to open up, and the opportunity to create and experiment brings pride and ownership. Having these tools at our hands gives our staff yet another avenue to help these fabulous young people heal and become healthy members of the community.
