I hope to find new ways to keep my students moving even while they're seated at their desks. Last year, I purchased a few Bouncy Bands for four of my students who needed to be on the "move" more than most of my other students. They told me that the bands really helped them to focus more while they were working and learning in class. I would love to get these bands for all of my students' desks so that they too might benefit from the opportunity of movement throughout the day.
I would also like to receive two balance chair balls for our classroom to provide some new flexible seating. I like to offer my students a variety of seating options in our classroom besides their student desks. We work and learn in all parts of our classroom, and I have found that my students like to be able to choose where they sit and work. Any donations would be appreciated to help my students to learn and succeed in a classroom environment that includes different types of movement.
