I am a school counselor servicing students in 4th and 5th grade in a specials rotation, small group, and individually. We do many arts integrated projects and consider not only ASCA Behavior and Mindset Standards, but also grade level Art standards ( music, dance, visual arts, and drama), and in some of our projects, 4th and 5th grade classroom subject curriculum as well ( math, language arts, social studies, and science). During whole group instruction, I support students during their creation, problem solving, and collaboration as they explore their own interpersonal and emotional growth through meaningful and content basted Arts Integrated Projects.
