When my students enter the classroom they immediately start looking for the "bouncy seat." We have been blessed to have 4 chairs that allow the students to bounce while they learn and they are always the first chairs chosen. Now more than ever I have learned that kids can't sit still.
My students need to move in order to learn. They want to do well and wiggle seats and cushions make a huge difference in their ability to focus. Nearly all of my students are exceptional learners and need accommodations to be successful. These little changes allow them to put their best foot forward and grasp concepts that they have never been able to master.
