I am asking to be funded for a kidney shaped table for guided reading. Presently I have a make shift guided reading corner that is too small and uncomfortable. The tables that I am currently using are only large enough to accommodate three little readers at a time. This does not bode so far as time management and being able to meet with all of my students. A larger table will help me meet with more students and give them a comfortable space to meet and learn during guided reading. A larger table will also give the students the space they need to read as well as write if that is relevant to our lesson.
