The Apollo-Ridge School District is situated in rural western Pennsylvania 40 minutes outside of downtown Pittsburgh. The band program has over tripled in size. It has always been a center of pride for the school and community but has seen a tremendous amount of growth. The administration and support has allowed for this growth to happen. With this growth our budget has been stretched to the max. Our students are motivated and inspired student musicians that understand the importance of music. I am the only band director within the music department and I teach grades 5 through 12. Though there is a tremendous amount of support, some students are unable to purchase instruments. Economics should never become a hindrance to a student who wants to learn music. Please help support this worthy cause to provide a great music education to students in the Apollo-Ridge School District.
