The balance balls along with the audio books I requested will help to create an area where students can experience a different approach to read alouds. Most of my students have a hard time sitting for a long period of time and I feel if they are able to slightly move, or bounce while listening to a story they would be able to focus on the story more. I plan to designate an area in my classroom where I can use the Flex Balance Balls along with my audio books to create a listening center for my students. In this space students can listen to audio books while sitting comfortably. This center will help increase their vocabulary, fluency as well as help to increase their imagination.
