Children with autism are visual learners. Computers have always provided excellent ways to facilitate learning and communication for children living with autism. Now, with the innovation of the iPad, children with autism have even greater opportunities to improve their communication, motor, and cognitive skills. With this iPad and Apple Pencil, I can teach my students virtually as I would in the classroom. I will be able to write on virtual worksheets and graphic organizers so that the students understand the work better. I can record reading stories aloud and I can record math activities, teaching the students how to read a clock or count money.
