We are a high poverty inner city school. Most of my students come from single parent, low income families. Many of their parents are non English speaking. A lot of my students have gone through so much hardship at such a young age. My class consist of 7 ELL students. Despite the language barrier my kids are eager and longing to learn everything they can. They love to be in school and all put forth their best effort to succeed.
