I teach in a blended four hour kindergarten program in Illinois. There are two sessions (am and pm). My am class consists of 20 general education students and 8 students with special needs. Their special learning needs consist of developmental delay, autism, and learning disabilities. The pm class has 27 general education students. All of the 55 students are not only working on educational goals, but social and emotional goals as well. This is a well rounded program.
