Students in my continuing digital photography classes are in need of advanced cameras to hone their skills. Currently, each of my four classes has nearly 25 students and we only have 7 DSL cameras. I am wanting to expand our class set in order to give the students more hands-on time with the cameras. The cameras are also needed to teach the students more advanced techniques such as manual manipulation. The DSL camera kits will also provide my students with a variety of lens to explore.
I often ask local photography professionals to come to speak with my students about the industry. They share often share techniques and tips along with the equipment that they will need to be successful.
My continuing and advanced students are not just willing to learn, they are now ready and eager to be taught how to master shooting with a DSLR camera. My students are interested in learning how F/Stops make in controlling the depth of field.
As a promoter of career readiness, I want to be able to provide my students with the tools that they need to become even more creative and to develop outstanding portfolios.
