My students are in an urban area in a focus school with low funding. They are low functioning and from a lower socio-economic standing. These students are increasingly interested in technology and have proven to be visual, auditory or kinetic learners. Although, technology seems to be an invaluable asset to getting them involved in their academic success, most of them lack the financial ability to utilize technology outside of the classroom environment.
