I teach in a Title I school where there is 100% free breakfast and a free lunch program. Many of our students also go home with a bag of food on the weekend because there is not enough food at home to feed their family.
I have bright, intelligent students who come to school wanting to learn each and every day. School is the safest place for a lot of my students. I want to make sure that they have the best materials possible to learn.
