My students are 1st grade students. Technology has become part of their world but not all of them have access to it on a daily basis. These students are eager to learn and their minds are ready to explore their potential. Students eagerly wait until it is their turn to use the computers. Students will use these computers to improve reading, math and writing skills. Our school is aware that in order to prepare students to be responsible in the community we must start early in their education. Increasing students opportunity to use technology will further them on their journey to becoming responsible citizens prepared to face the future. Technology is integrated into so many aspects of daily living and it is crucial that we have it integrated in our classrooms. As a 21st century learner, using technology is no longer a luxury but a necessity.
