My third grade students are from a Title One school. They are very eager to please adults. They come from good homes, struggling homes, and no homes. White homes, Hispanic homes, African-American homes, and mixed homes. They have two parents, one parent, grandparents, no parents and some are lucky enough to have a guardian looking out for them. They are all a work in progress. As a teacher I try to constantly encourage their strengths and work together with them on their areas of improvement. As a whole they seem very interested in art and are excited to be enrolled in this year's newest journey of STEAM.
