The students will use both the magnetic side and the dry erase side for differentiated instruction.
The magnetic side will allow for manipulation of numbers during math lessons. They will also use ten-frames on the magnetic boards to learn how to compose and decompose numbers. Ten-frames help students understand numbers and counting.
Magnetic letters will be used to learn how to spell simple words. They will also use the dry erase markers to practice their handwriting as they learn to write and prepare for first grade.
Both sides of these boards will provide countless students many learning opportunities throughout the year.
