I have had my old classroom rug for seven years and it has become very stained and worn. I would love to have a fresh, clean, comfortable place for my students to gather and collaborate with one another. The carpet area fosters classroom community and allows us to truly spend time together and get to know one another. It is a place where we can encourage and support one another to face new challenges. The carpet area is a great spot to sit while students take turns using the interactive tv in our classroom. We will develop our social/emotional learning skills and meet to have math/number talks.
