If I could describe my classroom in five words, they would be: authentic, rigorous, supportive, engaging, and community. Our classroom is full of energetic 1st through 3rd graders. In a Montessori classroom, each student is in charge of their own learning, with the teacher being their guide. They are free to move throughout the classroom. We focus on community building and taking time to get to know each child in the classroom.
