As you step into my classroom you will see my 24 first graders doing a variety of activities and centers to help them be successful in math, reading, and all subjects. We use technology to take them places they have never seen or experienced before. Many of my students can not afford to have the outside experiences and materials most children have. We read, we interact, we count, and so much more on our technology daily.
As we use our technology daily in groups and centers, we need to be able to hear and be successful in the apps to help us soar into learning, so we are in need of headphones to hear our many useful and amazing apps our district has already provided us.
Headphones are a need in our classroom since we use them daily to make sure they are able to hear sight words read to them correctly and able to practice daily, stories read to them, learning and practicing our many math standards, and so much more. We also help save on paper in our classroom by using an app called SeeSaw that allows kids to take ownership in their learning and communicate with parents.
