My students are 1 in a Million! They are creative, caring and lovable! Many come from difficult home lives and school is their safe haven and their chance to excel and succeed at something. "Art helps children say what cannot be said." So often the students I teach do not have a voice in their home lives or even a personal token they can call their own. If my students were able to print a personal work of art on something they can keep or wear, it would mean the world to them. This is also a chance to let them show off their exceptional talents at home to family and friends. These art supplies would allow my students to have ownership of something like a T-Shirt, which is huge in their worlds. It not only shows them that they can be successful at something, but it also proves to them that they can achieve great things.
