The pandemic has limited this cohort of students ability to experience hands-on manipulatives in the classroom. With the return to the classroom, the students seem highly motivated to interact more and want something more than just online instruction. This project is aimed at making math real for students through math manipulatives. The manipulatives will allow students to learn about ratios, probability, place value, and algebraic equations in a fun hands-on way. It will hopefully provide them with new perspectives and ways to interact with each other in a positive way.

About my class
