My classroom is diverse with many different needs. Students come in with a lack of technology skills needed to progress towards grade level. The school as a whole is a Title I school and has 67% students who receive free and reduced lunches. This is a drastic change from the last few years. I have been a part of the school improvement plan for the last 6 years and there is a wide gap between student scores. While that is a concern for my school I have found ways to implement strategies to help students gain progress and to close the gap.
