The students in my classroom all love to read. They enjoy both fiction and nonfiction books. They are both enthusiastic and voracious readers. My classroom library is not big enough to keep them all reading new and engaging titles. The books I have requested will help to satisfy the reading needs of my students and encourage a continued love of reading.
My students are always asking me to add to books to my classroom library. Some of them even go to other teachers to borrow books because I don't have the ones they are looking in my collection. I would like to have a print rich classroom where most, if not all, my students reading needs are met. In order to make that happen, I need more books and more titles that are current.
