At my school, we have an amazing bunch of students! Like most children, our students love having hands-on experiences with technology. There are many things that my students cannot do, because they do not have access to their own tablet or laptop. Last year I was able to do a query code scavenger hunt with my class by sharing tablets with students from another class (their teacher received them through a grant). It was the most engaged I have seen my students! Technology teaches students independent thinking skills. There are many times that I have wanted my students to be able to do digital projects and research, but we are very limited to what we can do. There are some students who probably do not have access to any technology besides the technology that they use at school. I want all of my students to be able to have access to technology.
