The use of technology is imperative in today's classrooms. Because I teach in a high poverty area, many of my students do not have computer access at home. Most of them are, however, familiar with smart phones and other technology devices. The iPads will allow students to work independently or in pairs to practice and review skills without needing constant assistance from me. This will allow me to work with small groups or one on one without being interrupted. There are many wonderful learning apps that will be beneficial to my students. I am very grateful for this opportunity to bring more technology into the classroom for my students!
