Thank you so much for visiting my page! My name is Heather Davis and I have been teaching at Maryland for 10 years. I am currently a math intervention specialist, serving students K-4th grade. Maryland is a Title I school, 100% free breakfast and lunch with a huge population of ELL and refugee kids coming from 23 different countries. About 70% of our students are falling far below in math and reading. My main goal in the math center is to fill in educational gaps, build their confidence as well as self-esteem, and foster their love of learning.
