I've always told my students that a messy desk equals a messy mind! I want to help my fifth grade students to be organized for success in the 2016-2017 school year! As a teacher trained in Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) in a school district that does not offer the the program, I am attempting to bring a small part of this wonderful college/community readiness program into my fifth grade classroom. At the primary and intermediate level, AVID encourages personal organization--something from which my students could greatly benefit. Your help in providing my students with the tools they need for organization success is greatly appreciated!
