The use of a graphing calculator in an Algebra 2 and Precalculus class is as necessary as pencil and paper. Yet, most students are not able to acquire one, and having a class set for students to borrow and use in the classroom is a priority.
My students will be able to graph functions, analyze functions on a deeper level such as find the maximum and minimum values, calculate logarithmic and exponential functions( which they are not able to do just by paper and pencil or memorizing a table).
These calculators will help my students make learning more attainable, and they will be able to prepare for important assessments such as the SAT and the ACT exams.
About my class
