I teach in a diverse classroom of students coming from myriad of backgrounds. More than half of my students speak Spanish as their first language. I work hard to create a classroom culture that instills a love for learning, as well as the love for reading in all my students.
Our school is a high poverty, urban school that is one of the most diverse schools in our district. We have a staff that is caring and passionate about our students' educations and futures. We are always seeking opportunities to provide high quality and engaging activities to enhance the learning experience for our students.
