I work at a Title I school where a lot of students come from families with limited resources. Parents are not always able to donate supplies to the classroom, so it helps me tremendously to have other donors help with the materials I need. There are also a lot of English language learners in our school, and since I can speak Spanish, I have a good mix in my class of different cultures.
