My school is a rural elementary school which serves K-5. There is a high rate of free and reduced lunch among the students which means that these kids are in need of life experiences. Our school is becoming a Stephen Covey "Leader in Me" school which allows each student to discover the leader in themselves. Using the 7 habits the students find out what their strengths are and we guide them to find ways to incorporate these traits. I am the coach of the Lego Team and the students complete applications to become members. The students foster relationships and strengthen their creative skills as they build. They display leadership as they share their creations.
