Students in Mrs. Marrs' class strive to be the best that they can be. It is a struggle in any mathematical classroom to have students feel confident in their work and what they are accomplishing. With the way things are changing in our world, I believe that students need every opportunity available to them to be a success! Our campus has very litle technology for student use, especially on an individual basis. These boogie boards would give them the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas on how to approach and solve every day, real-world problems. Not only would they be able to show me that they know how to complete the process, they could show their classmates and explain their steps. Now, the student becomes the teacher. As they are explaining to their classmates in their own words, the learning has become personal and will become ingrained in their minds.
