I am requesting donations to pursue National Board Certification in Science-Ages 11-15: Early Adolescence for the 2019-2020 school year. My teaching focuses on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics- STEM. STEM is important because it is a part of our daily lives. Science is everywhere in the world around us, and technology is continuously expanding.
Stem education has many benefits. It fosters ingenuity and creativity. Ingenuity and creativity can pair with STEM and lead to new ideas and innovations. It builds resilience which enables them to keep going when the going gets rough. STEM encourages experimentation. It encourages teamwork, knowledge application, encourages technology use, teaches problem-solving and encourages adaption.
